According to Eurostat data for the fourth quarter of 2024 shows residential property prices in Spain increased by 11,4%, which is one of the highest figures in the EU and more than double the eurozone average.

The Costa Blanca area, particularly the province of Alicante, has seen significant price increases. According to Euro Weekly News, prices in some towns (e.g. Algorfa) have increased by up to 43.3%.

The average year-on-year price increase in the area was 15%, making the Costa Blanca one of the fastest growing regions in Spain.
