Ravda is a small seaside town in southern Bulgaria, only 22 km from Burgas Airport.

Good climatic conditions and the proximity of the historic town of Nessebar make Ravda a popular place in the Black Sea.
In recent years, Ravda has grown and become a very popular resort in South Bulgaria.
Its sandy beaches have a gradual entry into the sea. It is a quiet place for people who want to avoid lively tourist centers.
There are two beaches in Ravda. Both are sandy and with a gradual entry into the Black Sea.
The south beach is shorter but wider, dominated by the old pier. The main beach is narrow and very long.
Some sections on both beaches are organized and you can rent sun loungers and parasols here.
There is also an wide range of water sports offer.
If you are looking for a busier life of larger cities, thanks to regular and cheap local transport, you can easily get to Sunny Beach (6 km) or to the nearby historic town of Nessebar (5 km). The ancient town of Nesebar is part of the UNESCO list since 1983.

In Ravda except the famous discos, you will find everything you need. While Sunny Beach is Las Vegas of Bulgaria, where it lives all day and night, Ravda’s nightlife is more moderate.

The center is a long main street called Makedonia, followed by Nesebar Street with full of shops, restaurants, cafes and several larger bars, which usually close around midnight.
People who want to have fun and dance until the morning can take a bus or taxi to the Sunny Beach. Buses run to Sunny Beach every 20 minutes and to Burgas every 30 minutes.
The advantage of the Ravda resort compare to larger cities,  are the low prices of food and alcohol and other favourable purchases. You will definitely fall in love with the local ice cream, for which you will not pay for each scoop, but actual based on the actual weight.

For families with children, a major attraction is the largest aqua park in Bulgaria called Aquapark Nesebar, located just 3 km from the center of Ravda.
