If you are looking for a quieter and smaller resort with fine golden sands, clean and gradual entrance to the sea – Sveti Vlas is the right choice. At first glance, this small town looks very neat, peaceful, surrounded by greenery and the Stara Planina mountains. In the resort you will find many luxury hotel complexes and the beautiful surrounding nature will surely charm you.

There is an absolutely relaxed atmosphere here, whether you visit this place at the beginning of July or in the middle of the hot season. The streets and beaches here are free of crowds, noisy discos and lit-up carousels.

Yet there’s everything you’d expect from a resort – shops, services, bakeries and great restaurants.

The beaches here are simply gorgeous, quiet with plenty of sun loungers and relaxation areas. You can also use the beach volleyball court or throw a frisbee around, there’s plenty of space everywhere. Plenty of bars and restaurants to brighten up the hot days and give you the relaxation and holiday atmosphere you need.

But until you get tired of relaxing on the beach – the more active holidaymakers can take one of the easy hiking trails, or just stroll through the forest on foot or by bike and explore the nearby Stara Planina mountain range. Here you will find a unique combination of clean mountain air, sea climate and beautiful nature.

We also bring to your attention the largest yacht marina Marina Dinevi, which has a capacity of up to 300 yachts. There is certainly plenty to look at during your walks. The entire marina is lined with upscale shops and great restaurants serving fresh seafood. At the same time, you can take advantage of the rich offer of boat tours and visit the surrounding area, take a water taxi to the historic town of Nessebar, ride on a banana boat, take a ride on a Speed Boat, or discover other water attractions.

History:

The present site of Sveti Vlas was originally a fishing village, founded in the 2nd century by the Greek population, and its original name was Larissa. The name Sveti Vlas came into use only in the 14th century. The town was predominantly Greek until the 20th century, when most of the local Greeks emigrated back to Greece.

Location

The resort is located just 5km from the bustling major resort of Sunny Beach and 35km from Burgas Airport. Well-connected public transport will ensure seamless connections and a local bus will take you to Sunny Beach resort in 15-20 minutes. We recommend visiting this resort if you want to do some major shopping or if you fancy the lively bars and discos.

If you are looking for a more convenient transport from Burgas Airport to Sveti Vlas – Bulgarian taxi services will come directly to the airport for you and in 30 minutes you are at your apartment or hotel. The price of the taxi service is around 35€.

Do you like history, sightseeing and gastronomy? Then don’t forget to visit Nessebar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site just 13 km away. Transport to Nessebar is very easy – you can use the public transport (it has its final stop there), or take a water taxi and enjoy the ride on the sea – it’s worth it. 😊
